Fike Twinflex Multipoint ASD Detector with Sounder – 204-0001
The Fike 204-0001 is a multipoint smoke and heat detector with optional built-in sounder and/or strobe, designed for use with the TWINFLEXpro 2-wire fire alarm system. By integrating the sounder directly into the detector, no additional wiring is required, significantly reducing installation time—up to 40% savings compared to traditional systems.
The detector features 7 selectable detection modes, allowing a single device to suit multiple applications. Its advanced optical scatter sensor and electronic technology ensure reliable smoke and heat detection while minimizing the risk of nuisance alarms.
Sounders can operate on the same pair of wires as detectors and call points, with two volume levels selectable via DIL switch. The unit also self-calibrates every 6 hours and continuously monitors for dust contamination.
Modes of Detection
Smoke 1: High-speed detection for free-burning fires (e.g., chemical stores, high ceilings).
Smoke 2: Standard optical detection for smouldering fires and escape routes.
Smoke 3: Reduced sensitivity with time delay to minimize nuisance alarms (e.g., hotel rooms).
Heat 1 (Rate of Rise): Standard rate-of-rise detection.
Heat 2 (Fixed Temp ~58 °C): Standard fixed temperature heat detection, suitable for kitchens.
Heat 3 (Fixed Temp ~90 °C): High-temperature heat detection, suitable for commercial kitchens or boiler rooms.
