Fike 204-0012 Twinflex Multipoint ASD Detector with Sounder / Strobe
The Fike 204-0012 is a versatile smoke and heat detector with optional integral sounder and strobe, compatible with TWINFLEX, TWINFLEX Pro, and Fike addressable systems (Sita200plus, Duonet, Quadnet). These detectors combine microprocessor-controlled detection with audible and visual warning, providing full DDA compliance in a single compact device.
Detection modes can be tailored to the environment during commissioning and easily reconfigured over the lifetime of the installation using DIL switches or commissioning software. All detection modes comply with European detector type specifications.
System Compatibility
TWINFLEX Two-Wire Multipoint Detector: 3 smoke modes, 3 heat modes, plus a combined mode (Smoke 2 + Heat 2).
Addressable ASD Detector: Up to 15 configurable detection modes, programmable via PC or panel (Quadnet/Duonet), with built-in loop isolator and I/O for local control and switching.
Both detectors feature an End-of-Line switch, removing the need for additional end-of-line resistors.
Audible and Visual Warning
Optional integral sounder: 90 dBA output
Multipoint: 3 sound patterns, 2 volume levels, can be silenced
ASD addressable: 7 sound patterns, 3 volumes, optional combined strobe
Optional integral strobe allows single-device installation of detector, sounder, and visual alert
Additional Features
Base LED: Flashes when detector head is removed for easy identification, even at height

Modes of Detection
Smoke:
Smoke 1: Ionisation-type response, ideal for high ceilings, fast-burning fires, or chemical stores
Smoke 2: Standard optical detection for smouldering fires and escape routes
Smoke 3: Reduced sensitivity with time delay for nuisance alarm-prone areas (e.g., hotel rooms with en-suite showers)
Heat:
Heat 1 (Rate of Rise): Standard rate-of-rise detection
Heat 2 (~58 °C Fixed): Standard fixed-temperature detection, suitable for kitchens
Heat 3 (~90 °C Fixed): High fixed-temperature detection, suitable for commercial kitchens, boiler rooms, or other high-ambient temperature areas
