The ViLX-ILB is designed to meet the requirements of a Type B outstation with an integral audio frequency induction loop (AFILS). Its design has been optimised to produce the horizontal field required by BS 5839-9:2011, overcoming limitations traditionally associated with wall-mounted induction loops.
The unit features a high-contrast design to aid location, with a highly visible Braille-enhanced call button that flashes green under normal conditions, flashes red when ringing, and shows solid red when a call is connected. It has a brushed stainless-steel finish and can be flush-mounted or fitted with a stainless surface back box.
