The MxPro 5 series fire control panels deliver a highly scalable and feature-rich solution, expandable from one to four detection loops. The MX-5404N is supplied with four on-board sounder circuits, 20 programmable zonal LEDs with slide-in labels, and 25 system status LEDs to provide clear and comprehensive system indication. Four programmable function keys with LED confirmation ensure straightforward and reliable operation.
Designed around the latest dual flash-based microprocessor technology, the panel incorporates a high-resolution, high-contrast graphical LCD display and a tactile keypad. This intuitive “select and click” interface simplifies both engineer configuration and day-to-day end-user operation.
Advanced cause-and-effect programming and enhanced trace diagnostics enable the MX-5404N to support a wide range of applications, from small installations to large, complex, multi-area systems. The panel is fully programmable on-site using the integral alphanumeric keypad or via PC-NeT configuration software.
PC Software
A comprehensive suite of user-friendly, Windows-based PC software tools is available for the MxPro 5 range. This includes configuration, servicing, logo upload, and virtual panel applications, allowing the full flexibility and capability of the system to be fully utilised.
Networking
By fitting an optional network card, the panel can communicate with other MxPro 5 or MxPro 4 fire panels, remote terminals, and network peripherals such as ipGateway™ or BMS/graphical interfaces. The Ad-NeT network operates as a true peer-to-peer system and supports both fault-tolerant loop and radial network topologies.
