Advanced MxPro 5 MX-5020/FT Remote Control Terminal with Fault-Tolerant Network
The MX-5020/FT Remote Control Terminal uses the same graphical LCD interface as the MxPro 5 series fire panels and is built on the same advanced flash-based microprocessor technology. Communication with the panels is via the same 2-core network cable, with an integral network interface featuring special screen termination to prevent mains frequency earth-loop currents between network nodes.
The Ad-NeT network functions as a true peer-to-peer system, supporting full cross-panel reporting, control, and cause-and-effect operations across up to 2000 zones. The terminal provides buzzer mute, view, enable/disable, and test functions, with dedicated system and navigation keys for straightforward user operation.
The display can be fully programmed by zone or sector, allowing it to show any combination of fires, faults, pre-alarms, or plant alarms. For example, it can display complete information for its own sector while showing only fire signals from other sectors of a building.
