The General Routing Interface Card is an optional module that provides fire routing outputs compliant with BS EN54-2:1998 Clauses 7.9 & 8.9 and BS5839-1:2002.
Applications
This EN54-2 compliant interface delivers monitored outputs for fire alarm and routing circuits. All circuits are continuously monitored for open and short-circuit conditions in both normal and active states, ensuring compliance with EN54-2 and BS5839-1:2002 Clause 12.2.1a. The outputs are capable of driving relay coils with impedances from 1kΩ to 5kΩ.
Compatibility
- The card is compatible with all MxPro 5 series control panels running version 50.07 software or later, and works with the PC Configuration Tool version 6.12 or later. It connects directly to the panel’s peripheral bus.
Key Features
- Two fire routing outputs, allowing separation of Call Point (MCP) and Automatic Detector (AFD) signals
- Monitored outputs detect open and short-circuit wiring faults in both quiescent and active states, with faults displayed on the panel
- Compatible with a wide range of routing equipment
- Easy installation and configuration
- Monitored outputs for enhanced safety
- Broad system compatibility
