The Multipoint ASD detectors set a new benchmark in detection technology. The Addressable ASD detector is compatible with both Duonet and Quadnet systems. Featuring microprocessor control, these detectors provide installers with a comprehensive range of detection capabilities, combining audible and visual warnings in a single compact device for full DDA compliance. Detectors can be tailored to their specific installation environment and reconfigured at any time during their operational life. Detection modes can be easily changed by adjusting the DIL switch in the detector electronics module, or via commissioning software on addressable systems. All modes fully comply with European detector type specifications.
The Addressable ASD detector allows multiple detection configurations, either in a single mode or a combination, offering up to 15 different settings. It is programmable via PC or directly at the panel (Quadnet and Duonet systems) and includes an in-built loop isolator, as well as digital I/O for local control and switching.
Multipoint ASD detectors also feature an optional full-specification integral sounder capable of producing up to 90 dBA output. The Addressable ASD detector provides seven selectable sound patterns and three volume levels. Additionally, all Multipoint ASD detectors can be equipped with an integrated combined strobe for visual alerts.
