The 3 I/O PLUS Modules are fully monitored, loop-powered devices designed to interface third-party equipment with the Fire Alarm Control Panel using normally open dry-contact connections. Each module supports up to three inputs and three outputs. Every input connection is continuously supervised for fault conditions (open or short circuit) as well as alarm states.
These interfaces enable the monitoring of external system contacts that must be integrated with the Fire Alarm System—such as a sprinkler system flow switch to detect activation, or extinguishant level monitoring in gas suppression systems.
Each module includes a built-in loop short-circuit isolator and provides up to three voltage-free, single-pole changeover relay outputs. The relay outputs are powered directly from the detection loop, eliminating the need for an external 24V DC supply. Relay operation is indicated by an onboard red LED. An 8-way D.I.L. switch is used to configure the module’s address, selectable from 1 to 125. Programmable functions include: Input Activation Mode, Delayed Input Alarm Activation, and Delayed Output Activation.
