The GFE-MCPE-A is an Analogue Addressable Manual Call Point designed and manufactured in accordance with EN54-11 and is fully compatible with all GFE addressable control panels. Featuring an enhanced communication protocol, it provides a typical alarm response time of approximately one second, depending on the number of call points on the loop. A version with an integrated loop isolator is also available.
A bi-colour LED indicates status: it flashes green when the unit is being polled by the control panel, and lights red when an alarm is activated. The red LED is triggered by the control panel upon receiving the alarm signal from the call point, confirming successful communication. Each device can be assigned an address from 1 to 125 using an eight-way DIL switch.
The unit includes a hinged protective flap that shields the trigger element, helping prevent accidental operation and discouraging malicious activations by requiring two deliberate actions to activate the device. It is suitable for both surface and flush mounting and can be easily reset after activation using the provided key.
