The MAINS I/O Modules are fully monitored, loop-powered devices designed to interface third-party equipment with the Fire Alarm Control Panel using normally open dry-contact connections.
Each input is continuously supervised for fault conditions—such as open or short circuits—as well as alarm activation.
These modules allow monitoring of external system contacts that need to be integrated with the fire alarm system, such as sprinkler system flow switches or extinguishant level sensors in gas suppression systems.
Each module includes a built-in loop short-circuit isolator and a voltage-free, single-pole changeover relay output rated for mains operation. The relay is powered directly from the detection loop, eliminating the need for an external 24V DC supply. Relay operation is indicated by an onboard red LED.
A configurable 8-way D.I.L. switch allows the module’s address to be set within the range of 1 to 125.
