The Hochiki HCP-E is a manual break glass call point fully compatible with Hochiki’s ESP analogue addressable protocol, providing reliable and rapid alarm activation.
The unit features a front-mounted red LED that can be configured for pulsing or non-pulsing operation during communication polling and illuminates continuously when the device is activated. Operation is achieved by pressing the EN54-compliant non-frangible (plastic) element, which generates a high-priority ESP interrupt to ensure a fast response from the control panel.
Testing is easily carried out using a test key inserted into the underside of the device. Two terminal blocks are provided for straightforward loop wiring connections. Addressing is performed using the TCH-B100 Hand-Held Programmer, ensuring quick and reliable setup. The call point supports both surface and flush mounting, and an optional glass element is available if required.
