The ACB-EW is a waterproof multi-heat sensor fully compatible with Hochiki’s ESP Analogue Addressable protocol.
It features both a variable fixed-temperature heat element and a rate-of-rise heat element. Each element is individually controlled by the control panel, allowing either sensor—or both simultaneously—to contribute to the fire detection decision. The sensor’s polling LEDs are also panel-controlled, with selectable pulsing or non-pulsing operation.
With an IP67 rating, the ACB-EW is suitable for external applications. It is supplied with a dedicated fixing base for secure installation, and flying leads connect directly to the loop using waterproof connectors.
