Hochiki CHQ-DZM/DIN(SCI) Dual Zone Monitor DIN Module with SCI
Model CHQ-DZM/DIN(SCI) is a dual-circuit zone controller that enables up to 60 conventional detectors—30 per zone—to be connected to Hochiki’s ESP analogue addressable system. When used in conjunction with the optional LCMU, the module also supports a Schottky diode line continuity option.
The unit provides comprehensive monitoring for faults or disconnections and incorporates a self-test function via the ESP protocol, ensuring continuous system integrity. Addressing is carried out using simple DIL switches for quick and reliable configuration. The module is also available in a boxed version (CHQ-DZM(SCI)), with both variants featuring an integral short-circuit isolator.
Note: When the resistive end-of-line (EOL) option is selected, the conventional zones on the CHQ-DZM/DIN(SCI) do not support line continuity. If call points are connected, they should therefore be wired at the beginning of the zone.
