Hochiki CHQ-DZM(SCI) – Dual Zone Monitor with SCI
Model CHQ-DZM(SCI) is a dual-circuit zone controller that allows up to 60 conventional detectors—30 per zone—to be integrated with Hochiki’s ESP analogue addressable system. When used with the optional LCMU, the unit also supports a Schottky diode line continuity option.
The module provides full monitoring for faults or disconnections, along with a self-test function via the ESP protocol, ensuring continuous system integrity. Addressing is configured using simple DIL switches for quick and reliable setup. The CHQ-DZM(SCI) is available as an OEM version and also as a DIN rail-mountable module (CHQ-DZM/DIN(SCI)), with both versions featuring an integral short-circuit isolator.
Note: When the resistive EOL option is selected, the conventional zones on the CHQ-DZM(SCI) do not support line continuity. If call points are connected, they should be wired at the start of the zone.
