Model CHQ-WSB2/RL is an EN54-23 compliant, addressable, loop-powered Wall Sounder Beacon designed to deliver reliable audible and visual alarm indication with low current consumption. The unit offers a wide selection of tones and adjustable sound output levels, achieving a maximum output of up to 102 dB(A) ±2 dB(A).
The sounder incorporates a high-intensity LED beacon integrated within the horn, providing effective visual signalling. It is designed for installation on either the Hochiki Standard Base (YBO-R/3 RED) or the Isolator Base (YBO-R/SCI RED).
Rated to IP21 as standard for indoor applications, the device can be upgraded for outdoor or harsh environments using the WS2-WPK Weather-proof Kit, which includes a dedicated back box and gasket set.
The unit also features an auto shut-down mode*, allowing a programmable operating duration after which the sounder will automatically silence, helping to reduce unnecessary noise pollution.
