Model CHQ-WSB2/WL is an EN54-23 compliant, addressable, loop-powered Wall Sounder Beacon designed to provide efficient audible and visual alarm signalling with minimal current consumption. The unit supports a wide range of selectable tones and volume levels, delivering a maximum sound output of 102 dB(A) ±2 dB(A).
An integral high-intensity LED beacon is incorporated within the horn to ensure clear visual indication. The device is compatible with both the Hochiki Standard Base (YBO-R/3 RED) and the Isolator Base (YBO-R/SCI RED) for flexible installation.
Rated to IP21 for indoor use, the sounder can be upgraded for external or demanding environments by fitting the optional WS2-WPK Weatherproof Kit, which includes a dedicated back box and gasket set.
The unit also includes an auto shut-down mode*, allowing the operating duration to be pre-set so the sounder automatically silences after a defined period, helping to reduce unnecessary noise pollution.
