The CHQ-PCM(SCI) is a loop-powered input/output module incorporating four independent changeover relay outputs and four monitored inputs. The relay outputs provide both normally open and normally closed volt-free contacts and can be independently controlled by the fire alarm panel for applications such as damper operation or plant and equipment shutdown.
The four inputs are intended for local fire and fault monitoring and are fully supervised for open- and short-circuit conditions. Input monitoring can be enabled or disabled in pairs via a two-way DIL switch, if required.
The module is also available in a DIN rail-mountable enclosure (CHQ-PCM/DIN(SCI)). An optional back box (CHQ-BACKBOX) can be fitted to increase the IP rating to IP65 when used with the CHQ-PCM(SCI). For installations involving heavy cables, the use of the SMB-1 Module Enclosure with the SMB-ADAPTOR plate is recommended.
