The CHQ-PCM(SCI) is a loop-powered input/output module featuring four independent changeover relay outputs and four monitored inputs. The relay outputs provide both normally open and normally closed volt-free contacts and can be independently controlled by the fire alarm panel, making them suitable for operating devices such as dampers or for plant and equipment shutdown.
The four inputs are designed for local fire and fault monitoring and are fully supervised for open- and short-circuit conditions. If required, input monitoring can be enabled or disabled in pairs via a two-way DIL switch.
The unit is also available in a DIN rail-mountable enclosure (CHQ-PCM/DIN(SCI)). An optional back box (CHQ-BACKBOX) can be used with the CHQ-PCM(SCI) to increase the IP rating to IP65. For installations using heavy cables, the SMB-1 Module Enclosure with the SMB-ADAPTOR plate is recommended.
