The Xtralis VSP-850-R In-Line Filter provides a cost-effective solution for protecting aspirating smoke detectors (ASDs) in harsh environments with high levels of airborne contaminants. By improving detector longevity and reducing maintenance frequency, this filter enhances system reliability while lowering total cost of ownership.
Its tapered inlet and outlet allow for straightforward installation directly in line with sampling pipes, eliminating the need for additional pipe fittings. The filter elements are easily replaceable without removing the filter from the pipe network, simplifying maintenance. Designed for multi-pipe installations, up to four filters can be mounted side-by-side without compromising aesthetics.
Directional arrows on the filter cover ensure correct airflow installation. Internally, filter elements are angled to maximize surface area exposure to airflow, promoting extended filter life.
