Signaline SLP-001 LocatorPlus FT Dual Zone Distance Locator and Monitor

The Signaline SLP-001 LocatorPlus is a combined distance locator and monitoring module designed for use with all Signaline FT and FT-R linear heat detection cables.

UL-approved, the LocatorPlus provides instant identification of the alarm location along the Signaline FT linear heat detection cable. Unlike earlier locator devices, it can also remotely transmit the alarm location via MODBUS output. The unit supports two independent detection zones, each accommodating up to 3000 metres of Signaline FT cable.

In addition to precise location reporting, the LocatorPlus functions as a comprehensive monitoring module, detecting and reporting both fire and fault conditions on either zone. Alarm and fault statuses are clearly indicated by an internal buzzer and LED indicators on the unit.

The LocatorPlus is compatible with conventional fire alarm panels, can operate via an addressable interface, and may also be used as an activation device for gas extinguishing control panels.

Two operating modes are available:

• Independent Mode – each zone reports alarms separately.

• Interlocking Mode – alarm relays activate only when both zones are in alarm, reducing the risk of false activations.
