BF376 Relay on a Plate – 24V DC, 5A (Single Gang)
The BF376 is a general-purpose, double-pole, polarised 24V DC relay designed specifically for 24V fire alarm systems. It features a high-intensity red LED that illuminates when the relay is active. The relay can be connected to a compatible control panel output or a standard polarised fire alarm sounder circuit to operate devices such as door-retaining magnets or roller shutter doors.
Important Note: When connected to a sounder circuit, the relay will reset to its normal state once the fire condition is cleared or silenced. Ensure compliance with the approving authority before installation.
The relay can be mounted on standard 25mm flush or surface-mount back boxes. Any mains supply must follow current wiring regulations (IEE Wiring Regs, 16th Edition), using fixed wiring with a three-core cable (≥1mm²) from an isolating switched fused spur, rated 5A max, dedicated to the BF376 and its load. Alternatively, a double-pole isolating device with ≥3mm contact separation and appropriate protection may be used.
