Battery and Lifespan
The Ei411H is powered by a sealed, tamper-proof lithium battery, enabling a completely wire-free installation with a 10-year operational lifespan. It connects wirelessly via RadioLINK interconnection technology. Once installed, the switch must be House Coded to the alarm system.
Test, Locate and Silence
The Control Switch enhances system flexibility and ease of use by allowing remote control of connected alarms:
Test – Activates a full system test
Locate – Identifies the alarm that has been triggered
Silence – Mutes nuisance alarms quickly and conveniently
Recommendations for Mixed Alarm Systems
Please note that the Ei411H is compatible with fire alarms only and cannot be used in systems that include both fire and carbon monoxide alarms. For mixed alarm systems, we recommend the Ei450 Alarm Controller.
