MCP Indoor Call Point Range – Installation Efficiency, Flexibility, and Compliance
The new MCP indoor call point range has been designed with installation efficiency, flexibility, and full compliance with current standards in mind. Minimising installation time and cost is a priority for fire and security installers.
These MCP units feature a unique ‘plug and play’ terminal block system, allowing all initial cabling to be terminated before connecting the block to the back of the call point. This eliminates the need for re-termination, saving both time and effort.
Modern standards now allow both break glass and resettable operating elements within a single manual call point. The MCP range offers complete flexibility, allowing units to be configured as either break glass or resettable simply by changing the element, without the need for extra parts or alternate products.
The range also includes anti-tamper protection: if the lid is removed unlawfully, the call point will trigger, maintaining the integrity of the fire alarm system.
All MCP indoor call points are fully EN54-11 compliant (with compliant markings).
MCP2 Series Specifics:
Supplied with an LED indicator as standard.
The MCP2A version offers LED/resistor and normally open clean contact options, easily selected by connecting the terminal block to the appropriate rear connection.
