The new MCP Indoor Call Point range has been designed with installation efficiency and flexibility at its core.
For fire and security installers, minimizing installation time—and therefore cost—is essential. The MCP range addresses this with a unique “plug & play” design, where all initial cabling is terminated to a dedicated terminal block that is then simply connected to the back of the call point. This eliminates re-termination, saving time and reducing potential errors.
Modern standards allow both break glass and resettable operating elements within a manual call point. The MCP range provides complete flexibility, enabling units to be configured as either break glass or resettable by simply swapping the element—no additional parts are required.
System integrity is maintained through the anti-tamper design, which triggers the call point and alarms the system if the lid is removed without authorization.
The MCP4A version is supplied with a double pole changeover contact set. Two terminal blocks are provided, allowing the unit to operate as either normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) depending on wiring (see wiring diagram).
