The new MCP indoor call point range has been designed with installation efficiency, flexibility, and full compliance with the latest standards at its core.
Minimising installation time—and therefore cost—is essential for fire and security installers. The MCP range addresses this with a unique “plug & play” design: all initial wiring is terminated to a dedicated terminal block, which is then simply connected to the back of the MCP. This eliminates the need for re-termination, saving time and reducing potential errors.
Modern standards now allow both break glass and resettable operating elements within a manual call point. The MCP range provides complete flexibility, enabling units to be configured as either break glass or resettable simply by swapping the operating element—no additional parts are required.
System integrity is preserved with an anti-tamper design: unauthorized removal of the call point lid triggers the unit, placing the system into alarm.
The range is fully EN54-11 approved, ensuring compliance with the latest fire safety standards.
The MCP3A version is supplied with one normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC) contact. Selection between NO and NC is simple—connect the terminal block to the desired contact. Single-pole changeover switching is possible using two terminal blocks.
