The EX-3000 Series is a three-zone automatic extinguishing control panel approved to EN12094-1 (European standard for fixed fire-fighting systems – components for gas extinguishing systems) and EN54 Parts 2 and 4.
The Ex-Extinguishing system detects fire in the same way as a conventional fire alarm system but, in addition to raising alarms, it also controls the release of an extinguishing agent. These agents may include CO₂ or specialist clean gases specifically developed for fire suppression.
Once activated, the extinguishing agent is released into the protected area, reducing the oxygen density around the fire and effectively suppressing combustion. Ex-Extinguishing systems are primarily installed in areas of high value or strategic importance—such as computer suites and telecommunications switch rooms—providing a cost-effective and reliable solution for protecting critical assets and business continuity.
