Quality, reliability, ease of use, and a rich feature set are hallmarks of the Haes range of fire alarm control panels. As Haes’ entry-level offering, the Eclipse embodies these qualities, providing a versatile solution suitable for a variety of applications.
Designed with the fire alarm engineer in mind, the Eclipse minimises labour and maintenance costs. The panel offers generous space for wiring and battery replacement, with clear visual indications for easy servicing. Activation is via keyswitch or access code, ensuring the engineer can always operate the panel. The one-man walk test further reduces the time and cost associated with routine maintenance.
Simplicity and user confidence were key considerations in the design. Colour-coded buttons and a three-step silence function make operation straightforward for non-technical users. The Eclipse is unique among entry-level panels in offering false alarm management, with programmable options that require secondary confirmation before initiating a full alarm. This feature supports Fire and Rescue Services by allowing alarm verification through Alarm Receiving Centres.
The panel provides two or four fire zone circuits and two monitored sounder circuits. Additional functionality includes Fire & Fault VFCO relays, Fire & Fault switched negative outputs, class change, and an alert input. Fire zone outputs can be configured as ‘Twin Wire’ via DIL switch selection; compatible detector bases and call points are required when Twin Wire mode is used. Eclipse panels are approved to EN54-2 and EN54-4, Fire Detection and Alarm Systems – Control & Indicating Equipment.
