The Ex Remote Status Indicators are available in two configurations: a basic display-only version with an optional key switch, or a manual release version with an optional key switch for selecting automatic or manual mode.
The Ex-extinguishing system detects fires in the same way as a standard fire alarm system. In addition to activating alarms, it also controls the release of an extinguishing agent. This agent can vary from CO₂ to specialized gases designed specifically for fire suppression. When released, the agent lowers the oxygen concentration in the affected area, effectively extinguishing the fire.
Primarily, the Ex-extinguishing system is deployed in high-value or strategically important areas, such as computer suites and telecom switch rooms, offering a cost-effective solution to protect critical business infrastructure.
