The EVC-H Heat Detector is part of Nittan Europe Ltd.’s new evolution range of fire detectors. With its sleek, low-profile design, the EVC-H is visually unobtrusive and blends seamlessly into modern working environments. It is fully compatible with existing conventional fire detection systems.
Installation:
The EVC-H is typically installed at ceiling level. Field wiring should be passed through the central cable entry at the rear of the base. Secure the base to the ceiling or conduit fitting using the mounting holes and screws. Connect the field wiring to the base terminals as outlined in the ‘Connections’ section, ensuring that wiring does not obstruct the installation of the detector head.
Attach the detector head by inserting it into the base and turning clockwise until the notch aligns with the sensor. During commissioning, the dust cover should be removed and discarded.
