The 701P Conventional Optical Smoke Detector is designed for use with the Tyco FireClass range of conventional fire alarm control panels. It detects smoke by sensing the optical scatter produced by smoke particles generated during a fire.
Suitable for a wide range of general applications, the 701P is particularly well suited to areas where cable overheating may occur, such as electrical service areas.
The 700 Series Intelligent Conventional Fire Detection Range incorporates advanced microprocessor-based algorithms to identify fire conditions more accurately. This provides enhanced detection performance and improved resistance to false alarms.
The innovative design of the 700 Series also incorporates built-in drift compensation, helping to maintain detector performance over time while extending service life and reducing maintenance costs. The range is designed for quick and straightforward installation, with a single fitting required to complete the installation.
The 701PH Detector is approved to EN54-29 standards.
