Hochiki SOC-E3N Photoelectric Smoke Detector
The SOC-E3N is a photoelectric smoke detector compatible with the majority of conventional fire alarm systems. It features Hochiki’s high-performance photoelectric smoke chamber, which removes the need for ionisation detectors in most applications while maintaining excellent detection performance.
The detector incorporates ASWV (Automatic Sensitivity Window Verification) drift compensation technology, ensuring the unit operates at optimal sensitivity throughout its service life and significantly reducing the risk of false alarms. If contamination levels exceed acceptable limits, the integral red LED flashes every three seconds, providing a clear visual maintenance warning.
The smoke chamber is easily removable and replaceable for cleaning and uses a unique baffle design that allows smoke to enter while preventing ambient light interference.
