The FireClass FC440AIB Addressable Base Sounder with VID is a compact, multifunctional device designed for use with FireClass addressable detectors. It combines a fire alarm sounder and visual indicator within a single base unit, providing both audible and visual alerts that are independently addressable and controllable from the fire alarm control panel.

Powered and communicated entirely via the digital loop, the unit requires no additional wiring for either the sounder or the detector. This significantly reduces installation time and cost while simplifying system design. The integrated visual indicator (VID) adds a clear flashing beacon to enhance alarm visibility in noisy or high-traffic environments.
