The Fulleon SQG3-23 is a combined audible and visual detector base unit built on the Fulleon Squashni platform. With exceptionally low current consumption, it delivers a versatile fire safety solution designed to meet both detection and notification requirements across a wide range of environments, including hotels, offices, retail premises, educational facilities, and warehouses.
Visual Alarm Devices (VADs) are certified to EN 54-23, which specifies the performance requirements for visual alarm devices used in non-domestic fire detection and alarm systems. This ensures the unit emits sufficient light intensity to effectively alert occupants within a defined area.
The need for a VAD typically depends on site conditions — such as high ambient noise levels, areas where hearing protection is worn, or locations where individuals with hearing impairments may be working alone.
While the SQG3 base sounder can operate as a standalone unit, its large flat mounting surface allows compatibility with most leading European detectors. Thanks to its high efficiency and low operating current, it integrates easily with a wide range of fire systems. A combined audible and visual variant is also available.
Incorporating advanced piezoelectric technology, the Squashni base sounder operates at currents as low as 4mA, offering a highly cost-effective solution. It delivers a 360° sound output at 90dB, ensuring clear and consistent notification when required.
Its low power consumption makes the SQG3 suitable for use across multiple sectors. It is compatible with Eaton addressable fire systems and BiWire systems, and can also be adapted for various OEM applications.
