The Menvier heavy-duty magnetic door retainers are durable, easy to install, and suitable for a wide variety of environments including nursing homes, hospitals, schools, and industrial facilities.
Two models are available:
- MDR240 – Mains powered, 40kg holding force
- MDR24L – 24V DC powered, 40kg holding force
Both versions hold doors open during normal operation and automatically release them when the fire alarm is activated.
Constructed from die-cast aluminium with a plastic front cover plate, these retainers are built for long-term reliability. Each unit is supplied with a door-mounted striker plate and can be wall-mounted directly or floor-mounted using an optional bracket. A manual override switch is included as standard for convenient door release when required.
