The Vox Ignis ViAC-ACA-W Lexicomm Assist Call Alarm WC System provides a compact and reliable solution for integrating emergency assistance call systems with an EVCS. It provides a central display point for disabled assistance calls throughout a building.
The system can be installed on a dedicated line or share a line with a ViLX-OSB disabled refuge outstation, provided fire-rated cable is used. Where both systems share a line, activation of the disabled refuge point takes priority over the assistance call, making the system particularly suitable for applications where an accessible WC is located adjacent to a refuge lobby.
When the pull cord is activated, the over-door indicator and cancel plate provide an alternating audible tone alongside a flashing blue “Halo” to clearly indicate that assistance is required. Once the call has been acknowledged, the indicators change from flashing to steady illumination and emit a double beep every 15 seconds. This provides reassurance to the occupant that the call has been received and assistance is on the way. Instruction signage is included with the kit.
