Overview
This range of power supplies is intended for use with compliant fire alarm systems that require additional power for auxiliary devices connected to the system. The units deliver a regulated 27.6VDC output and are available in 1A, 2A, and 5A versions, with a choice of two enclosure sizes to suit different battery capacity requirements.
In the event of a mains power failure, the PSU automatically switches to battery backup, ensuring a continuous and uninterrupted power supply. Each unit is housed in a durable metal enclosure with space for two batteries. Maintenance-free sealed lead-acid batteries are used to provide backup power during mains loss.

- Overload and short-circuit protection to prevent PCB damage
- Battery charging current between 500mA and 800mA, depending on model (refer to Specification Chart)
- Deep discharge protection disconnects batteries below 21VDC to prevent battery damage
- Battery monitoring for low voltage, incorrect connection, and short-circuit conditions
