Overview
This range of power supply units has been developed for use with compliant fire alarm systems that require additional power for connected auxiliary devices. The series delivers a regulated 27.6VDC output and is available in 1A, 2A, and 5A models, with two enclosure sizes to suit varying battery capacity requirements.
Should the mains supply fail, the PSU automatically switches to battery backup, maintaining an uninterrupted power source for the connected system. Each unit is housed in a durable metal enclosure with provision for two batteries. Maintenance-free sealed lead-acid batteries are required to provide standby operation during mains failure.

- Built-in overload and short-circuit protection to prevent PCB damage
- Battery charging current ranging from 500mA to 800mA, depending on the model (refer to Specification Chart)
- Deep discharge protection disconnects batteries below 21VDC to help prevent battery damage
- Battery monitoring functionality detects low voltage, incorrect battery connection, and short-circuit
