The EK-WL8-TRH is a fully intelligent wired-to-wireless Translator Module compatible with the Hochiki ESP protocol. It enables the integration of intelligent wireless field devices alongside standard hard-wired devices on the same addressable fire detection loop.
The Translator Module supports up to 126 expanders and radio field devices per loop. Multiple Translators can be deployed on a system, provided sufficient loop power and addresses are available.
Designed for ease of use, the module features an OLED display for simple programming and incorporates a Loop Short Circuit Isolator. Each radio field device is assigned a loop address, making them fully intelligent while keeping radio connectivity transparent to the end user. System parameters are programmed via the Translator Module and a PC link, with automatic management of sensor radiated power to optimize communication quality. Two internal antennas reduce radio fade, ensuring reliable wireless performance. An optional back box is also available.
