The Scope Connexions System Connexions System is a modular, high-performance on-site UHF paging solution designed to offer flexibility, reliability, and cost-effective scalability. Its modular design allows the system to start with a basic unit and expand as your organisation’s requirements grow, keeping initial outlay minimal.
Connectivity is a core strength of the system, with interfaces supporting internal telephone lines, PC networks, RS232, RS485, USB, dry contacts, and voltage triggers. An optional internal protocol conversion feature enables RS232 data from host hardware—such as fire, intruder, nurse call, or building management systems—to be translated into paging signals.
The basic unit includes two RS232 ports and eight dry-contact inputs, allowing hard-wired integration with anything from an alarm control panel to a doorbell, alerting designated users when specified events occur. All Connexions systems come pre-configured with default settings and support up to 4-digit pager numbers (9999), providing built-in expansion capability.
Operating on UHF frequencies, the transmitter provides high signalling reliability in commercial environments while using small, unobtrusive aerials. It utilises the internationally recognised digital POCSAG signalling system, widely deployed by large-area paging networks.
