The MCP401RC is a Manual Call Point that runs on 230V AC mains power. It has a built-in rechargeable Lithium cells that act as a battery back-up in the event of a mains failure.
These rechargeable cells are designed to have a ten-year life and outlast the life of the unit itself, whilst providing up to 2 months of operation without mains failure.
