The TalentumTT 2 (1800-101) is a test and calibration unit specifically designed to work with the full range of Talentum® flame detectors. It generates a wide range of optical output signals, simulating flame conditions for testing and calibration purposes.
Most optical flame detectors respond to Ultra-Violet (UV) and/or Infra-Red (IR) radiation emitted by flames, often using flame flicker detection to distinguish between real flames and false optical sources. The TalentumTT 2 simulates a pan fire test by modulating a filament lamp. Due to the thermal time constant of the filament, the simulated flicker may not perfectly replicate a real flame, meaning some sensors may require slightly longer to respond during testing.
The unit is intended for service engineers and is designed for use in safe areas only. It comes supplied in a protective carry case for safe transportation and storage.
