The Crowcon Xgard Bright is a versatile fixed gas detector designed for the detection of flammable and toxic gases, as well as oxygen monitoring in a wide range of industrial applications. A choice of long-life sensor technologies is available to suit your application, including MPS™ flammable gas sensors with a lifespan of over 10 years, infrared (IR) sensors offering more than 10 years of service, and long-life oxygen sensors with an expected lifespan of up to 5 years. These durable sensor options minimise replacement frequency, reduce maintenance requirements, and lower ongoing operating costs.
The detector features a 4-wire addressable design, significantly reducing cabling requirements and installation costs. A bright OLED display provides clear status information and enables commissioning, calibration, and routine maintenance to be carried out without opening the enclosure, helping to improve safety and efficiency in hazardous environments.
For seamless integration with gas monitoring systems, the Xgard Bright is supplied with 4–20mA analogue and RS-485 Modbus outputs as standard, along with integrated Alarm and Fault relays. HART communication is also available as an optional feature for enhanced diagnostics and configuration.
