The BExCP3-BG break glass manual call points are engineered for use in the most demanding environments and are certified for installation in Zone 1, 2, 21 and 22 hazardous areas. They are designed for controlling fire and gas alarm systems and are SIL2 compliant in accordance with IEC 61508:2010.
The BEx range features robust, corrosion-resistant, marine-grade, copper-free LM6 (A413) aluminium enclosures, finished with a chromated surface treatment and durable powder coating. Units are available with or without monitoring resistors, with all versions certified to IECEx and ATEX standards. Additional approvals include PESO, INMETRO and Ex EAC.
The break glass element incorporates a protective safety membrane and is designed to snap cleanly upon activation, preventing the release of glass fragments. A break glass hammer is also available as an optional accessory where required by local regulations or installation codes.
