The LED Beacon is engineered for use in potentially explosive environments, certified for Group I (Mining) and Group II (Above Ground) applications, and housed in a robust IP66-rated enclosure for dust and water protection.
Suitable for fire, security, process control, and general signalling, the beacon features a DIP switch that allows selection between a 1 Hz (60 FPM) flash rate or a steady (constant-on) signal, providing flexibility for different alerting needs.
A time-saving base design simplifies installation: all electrical connections are made during the initial wiring phase to the base, eliminating the need for additional cabling to the beacon head. On commissioning, the beacon head twists and clicks into the pre-mounted base, delivering a fast, reliable, and safe installation. This unit must be powered through a suitably approved Zener Barrier or Galvanic Isolator.
